Job Summary: The Project Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of civil construction projects. The role includes cost control, contract administration, procurement, valuation of works, and managing project budgets to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and evaluate subcontract packages, tender documents, and quotations. Administer contracts, including variations, claims, and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions. Prepare and submit progress claims, payment certificates, and final accounts. Evaluate and certify subcontractor progress claims and variation orders. Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow, and forecast project expenditure. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients on commercial and contractual matters. Maintain contract records, correspondence, and commercial documentation. Identify contractual risks and recommend cost-saving and value engineering initiatives. Ensure compliance with contract conditions, company procedures, and project requirements. Prepare monthly commercial reports and support management with cost analysis and project financial performance. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager or Commercial Manager. Requirements: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of relevant quantity surveying experience in civil or infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of contract administration, cost control, and quantity measurement. Proficient in MS Office and quantity surveying software.
