Job Summary

  • The Midwife Officer will coordinate and implement effective MCH activities for emergency health and nutrition responses, ensuring timely and appropriate service delivery in line with international standards.
  • Responsibilities include providing antenatal care, post-natal care, delivery services, newborn care, family planning counseling, and linking survivors to SGBV services.
  • The role requires liaising with other services such as Nutrition, U5 health, Adult health, SGBV, and Hygiene & sanitation, and representing IRC at S RH meetings at Woreda level.
