Job Summary

  • Serves the needs of inpatients, outpatients, family, associates and physicians through the efficient and effective application of respiratory therapy services offered in the sleep diagnostic center.
  • Administers tests and treatments, such as oxygen therapy, pulse oximetry, baseline sleep study, CPAP titration, etc., for inpatients and outpatients while monitoring patients for adverse reactions.
  • After completion and documentation of competency, initiates, maintains and documents CPAP or BiPAP parameters per established policies and protocols.

Key Requirements

  • Previous sleep lab experience
  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Sleep Technologist (RST)
  • RRT willing to complete A-STEP modules
  • Completed accredited polysomnography training
