Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Critical Care or Cardiology
  • Unrestricted Texas Medical license required
  • Full component of ICU skills including ECMO and line insertion
  • 3-5 years experience following training preferred
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary cardiac team

Nice-to-have

  • Solid clinical and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with neonates with CHD
  • Track record in high-volume cardiac center
  • Commitment to family-centered care

Key Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
  • Completion of ACGME or AMA approved pediatrics residency
  • Board certification/eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology or Pediatric Intensive Care
  • American Heart Association BLS and PALS certification prior to start date
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
