Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program that meets the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident.
  • This role involves participating in planning and conducting individual, small and large group activities and maintaining good communication among employees, residents, families, and community.
  • The Activity Assistant also assists with developing monthly activity calendars, maintaining attendance records, and supporting quality assurance and discharge planning efforts.
