Job Summary

  • The Commerce Checkout team is responsible for building, operating, and continuously improving the core checkout experience on the BigCommerce platform, ensuring merchants can reliably convert shoppers into buyers through a secure, performant, scalable, and flexible checkout flow.
  • You will build high-quality front-end features using React and TypeScript, refactor legacy code, identify and fix issues across the stack, and collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
  • This role offers a hybrid work model for candidates based in the Sydney Metro area, with three days per week in the office to balance focused individual work and meaningful in-person collaboration.

Key Requirements
