Job Summary

• The Behavioral Health Community Educator will plan and implement a comprehensive behavioral health community education program, coordinating with community organizations to educate them on adult and geriatric programming and the psychiatric unit at Saint Vincent Hospital.
• This role involves assisting with the referral process and developing referral pipelines to support the SVH psychiatric unit, while maintaining and disseminating accurate community education information and coordinating external communications.
• Key responsibilities include implementing a community education program, creating and monitoring referral processes, maintaining an up-to-date understanding of services and admission criteria, and developing marketing and education plans.
