Job Summary

  • The Nurse Manager holds 24-hour accountability for the quality of patient care, efficiency of operations, and human resources management for area(s) assigned.
  • Supervises day-to-day nursing care and operations for Keck Hospital Same day and PACU, and is responsible for selecting and retaining qualified nursing staff.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of a unit-based performance improvement program in line with JCAHO, Title 22, and other applicable regulatory agencies.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • 5 years experience as an RN
  • 18 months experience in Pre-Op/PACU
  • 18 months experience in Pre/PACU management or charge nurse capacity
  • Computer literate in Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Registered Nurse - RN (CA Board of Registered Nursing)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
  • Fire Life Safety Training (LA City)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider
