The Registered Dietitian's primary responsibilities include direct patient care through application of the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) including the completion of the nutrition assessment, determination of the nutrition diagnosis, developing nutrition focused, evidence based interventions (including the nutrition prescription, example: diet/feeding order; and coordinating services related to Medical Nutrition Therapy for patients) and nutrition monitoring and evaluation; and provides nutrition counseling and education for both inpatient and outpatient populations

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
  • CRT-Registered Dietitian (RD) - CDR
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • 180 Days experience as RD
  • 1 year experience as BLS provider
