Job Summary

• The Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of complex capital construction projects related to traffic signals and ITS infrastructure, providing technical leadership, project and contract management, and people leadership.
• The role provides leadership in project, contract, and stakeholder management related to lighting construction, maintenance, and electrical services procurement, ensuring effective planning, design, procurement, construction, and ongoing operations.
• Key qualifications include post-secondary education in a pertinent professional discipline and considerable experience in traffic signals, ITS, and/or Streetlighting, along with strong leadership capacity and communication skills.

• Post-secondary education in civil engineering, traffic/transportation engineering, systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
• Considerable experience in traffic signals, ITS, and/or Streetlighting
• Experience in project management and coordination
• Experience managing project budgets and/or capital planning
• Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence and daily access to a reliable personal vehicle
