Job Summary
The Clinical Specialist functions independently to provide theory and evidence-based knowledge that shapes the practice and core competencies for the clinical nursing staff.
The CS provides area leadership in collaboration with the administrative leaders focusing on orientation, professional development, skills/competency validation, evidence-based practice, shared governance, regulatory compliance, nurse sensitive quality indicators, and performance improvement.
