Generac Power Systems is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I for engine design, responsible for contributing to product development projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have some relevant work experience, preferably with skills in 3D modeling

Job Summary

  • The Engineer I-Engine Design is responsible for providing engineering input to the product development projects assigned to him/her including interfacing with the cross functional team.
  • Designs, validates, and brings new products to market, providing new product development support in the Industrial, Commercial, Residential and/or Retail generator or Power Tool product area.
  • Utilizes CAD (Computer Aided Design) or CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) systems to model new designs and produce detailed engineering drawings.
