  • The Lead Infection Preventionist serves as a primary lead over one of the five areas for the infection prevention program: Accreditation, Laboratory, Education, Data/Quality or Procedural.
  • The Lead IP collaborates with teams and individuals to create infection prevention strategies, provide feedback, and sustain infection prevention strategies.
  • The Department of Clinical Epidemiology is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, faculty and staff through preventing and controlling the spread of infection at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC).
