Workday is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its Platform Reliability Engineering team in Reston, VA, focusing on security solutions for U.S. Federal Government contracts. Job Summary

  • This role will support one or more direct or indirect contracts with the U.S. Federal Government which, due to federal government security requirements, mandates that all Workday personnel working on the contracts be United States citizens (naturalized or native).
  • The successful candidate will have a proven potential to work in a production focused diverse organization. You will be working in a rapidly moving microservices environment where resilience and scalability are key non-functional requirements.
  • This position will require regular after-hours production support, in the event of critical service outages.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • US citizenship required
