Job Summary

  • As a Sr Principal Systems Architect you will guide the development and support of the Survivable Airborne Operations Center program, including total life cycle focus from requirements development and architecture creation to system sell off.
  • Your duties will also include developing architectures, beginning with logical and working with Integrated Product Teams to define the physical architecture, allocating requirements to architecture elements, deriving requirements to drive details into the model, creating and refining modeling standards and design patterns.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in System Engineering or related discipline and typically 16 or more years of relevant experience
  • Advanced knowledge of engineering principles and practices
  • Progressive experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
  • Thorough understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
  • Experience creating logical and physical architecture models
  • Experience in Federated Modeling and Model Management Plan Development
  • Experience in highly-technical high-pace environments with stringent schedules
  • Extensive experience with aircraft modifications with mission systems that included RF communications networks, audio and visual systems, NC3 mission systems, virtualization, and multi-enclave technologies
  • Experience coordinating technical solutions across programs
  • An active Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
