This two-year postdoctoral position is funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to support the development of open-source technology for applying AI methods to visual culture.
The researcher will create multimedia Open Educational Resources, assist in curating diverse visual collections, and help organize the Distant Viewing Conference.
Candidates from diverse disciplinary backgrounds including digital humanities, computer science, and media studies are welcome to apply.
