Job Summary

• The Manager, Compliance Privacy Advisor will perform key privacy compliance activities on the second line of defense and help manage privacy risk under applicable federal, state, and international privacy laws and regulations.
• They will work closely with the business, human resources, legal, tech, and risk partners, serving as a subject matter expert on privacy risk and collaborating with an experienced and diverse group of Compliance professionals.
• This role is eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI), and Capital One offers a comprehensive, competitive, and inclusive set of health, financial, and other benefits.

Skills & Requirements

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience
• At least 5 years of privacy compliance, legal, audit, or risk management experience
• Juris Doctor or Master’s degree
• 6+ years of experience in privacy compliance, legal, or risk management
• 2+ years of consumer compliance, monitoring, risk, or auditing experience at a financial institution
• CIPP or CRCM certification
