Job Summary

  • As a Technical Instructor, you’ll play a critical role in supporting Dallas Maintenance and the operation of the largest Boeing fleet in the world—helping ensure the safety and reliability of the aircraft that serve millions of Customers each year.
  • You’ll design, develop, and deliver technical training for Southwest Employees, On‑Call Maintenance Providers, and Airframe Substantial Maintenance Providers, staying current on evolving aircraft systems, technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 8 years commercial aviation experience
  • 5 years hands-on aircraft maintenance or instructional design
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic Certificate
  • U.S. citizenship or work authorization
  • Ability to stand and speak up to 6 hours
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
