Functions as part of the dialysis health care team providing safe and effective dialysis therapy under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Responsible for patient care activities including vascular access evaluation, dialysis treatment initiation and discontinuation, and monitoring patient response.
Supports infection control, quality enhancement programs, and participates in patient education and transitional care activities.
