Bakersfield Post Acute is seeking part-time, per diem Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) for all shifts to provide direct nursing care and oversee Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). The ideal candidate will possess a current LVN license, strong nursing knowledge, and the ability to work effectively with residents and staff in a skilled nursing facility setting
Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Ensure care is delivered in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, facility policies, and direction from the Director of Nursing or Nurse Supervisor.
Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician and verify resident identity prior to medication administration.
