Job Summary

  • Leads research, design, and development activities to improve NYPA’s energy services, designing, constructing, and testing equipment to meet standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness, and performance.
  • Provides technical expertise to power-producing machines, generators, turbines, and rotating machines, ensuring standards are met throughout all engineering activities.
  • Performs site visits for field condition assessments, equipment evaluations, and develops technical recommendations, coordinating cross-disciplinary activities and supervising maintenance staff and contractors.
