Job Summary

  • The Windgate Artist in Residence will work in the Windgate Center of Art + Design at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock for the fall 2026 semester, engaging with the community and making work in provided studio space.
  • Artists are expected to interact with students through weekly open studio hours, studio visits, in-class activities, and community receptions, and will donate one work of art to the UA Little Rock Art Collection.
  • Housing is provided approximately one block from the Windgate Center for Art + Design, and artists with families are encouraged to apply.
