Job Summary
The cook is responsible for managing and operating the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
Essential duties include maintaining a safe, orderly, clean, and sanitary kitchen and cooking area, preparing a variety of foods in large quantities, and accurately preparing special diets.
The position requires the ability to work in cooperation with personnel in all departments and to report resident care concerns to the Administrator and/or Director of Nurses.
