Job Summary
Transports patients to and from rehabilitation area using standard precautions and performs treatment modalities including but not limited to hydrocollator packs, ultrasound, and paraffin.
Assists patients with toileting, ambulation or unskilled exercises as delegated and provides hydrotherapy treatment as directed by a therapist including scheduling, patient transfers, treatment clean up.
Performs various patient positioning, transferring and transporting duties, which require lifting and pushing/pulling, while utilizing proper technique and must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
