Extendicare Scarborough is seeking a full-time MDS-RAI Coordinator to oversee resident assessments and data management in their long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care, MDS coding, and possess strong analytical and communication skills
Job Summary
The MDS-RAI Coder is responsible for review of interdisciplinary and comprehensive resident assessments, collection of data for quality documentation management and adherence to MDS and RAI requirements.
Responsibilities include managing the co-ordination and completion of the Resident Assessment, Resident Assessment Protocols (RAPs) and care plans as assigned, and completing accurate coding of the RAI - MDS and care plan documentation for all residents.
