Job Summary

  • The LVN ensures care is delivered in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, facility policies, and direction from the Director of Nursing or Nurse Supervisor to maintain the highest level of quality resident care.
  • Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician, verify resident identity, and ensure proper narcotic documentation.
  • Perform skilled nursing procedures including wound care, catheterization, tube feedings, suctioning, and specimen collection.
