Arvin Post Acute is seeking a full-time Activities Director to oversee the planning and implementation of resident-centered activities in accordance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience in a long-term care facility and possess an Activity Director Certification

Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of the Activities Director position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Activities Department in accordance with current federal, state, local, and corporate standards, regulations, and guidelines.
  • The Activities Director ensures an ongoing, resident-centered program of activities designed to meet the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs and interests of each resident based on comprehensive assessments.
