Salary

Base: $36.93 – $47.56 CAD per hour; Bonus/Equity: Not bonus eligible for fixed term employees; Benefits: Comprehensive package including PTO, medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and RRSP/DPSP

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 3+ years environmental monitoring experience
  • Electrofishing certification and fish salvage
  • Intermediate First Aid and Transportation Endorsement
  • Experience with heavy machinery in construction zones
  • Valid driver's license for remote travel

Nice-to-have

  • ATV Safety training preferred
  • Swiftwater Rescue certification preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive self-starter approach
  • Ability to work in remote work camps

Key Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in environmental science, biology, or related discipline
  • Registered Professional Biologist (or equivalent) status required
  • Fish salvage operations experience required
  • Federal, Provincial, and Territorial environmental regulations knowledge
  • Not eligible for immigration sponsorship
