  • The Budget Director leads the Budget and Financial Planning and Analysis (BFPA) section and is responsible for the development and execution of NCDOT’s nearly $10 billion budget.
  • The position directs and participates in year-end budget and accounting activities and may be called upon to support or direct the preparation of portions of the NCDOT ACFR package and related financial reporting.
  • The Budget Director plays a key role in communicating with the North Carolina Board of Transportation, frequently offering formal presentations to the Board and fielding informal questions between Board meetings.
