Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct nursing care to residents while supervising the daily activities of nursing assistants in accordance with state and federal standards.
  • The Charge Nurse is responsible for administering medications, managing care plans, and ensuring all personnel comply with facility policies and procedures.
  • This role requires active participation in quality assurance programs, facility surveys, and the development of staff training and orientation programs.
