Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Flight testing fixed-wing aircraft or rotorcraft
  • 14 CFR Part 27, 29, 23, or 25 Subpart B certification experience
  • Strong understanding of aerodynamics and stability control
  • Experience with flight test planning and data reduction techniques

Nice-to-have

  • Python programming skills
  • Familiarity with FAA AC 21.17-4 Type Certification
  • Prior DER or ODA E-UM Flight Analyst experience
  • Wind tunnel testing experience

Key Requirements

  • BS/MS/PhD in Aerospace Engineering
  • 10+ years experience with BS (8+ with MS, 4+ with PhD)
