Job Summary
The Stewart Laboratory in Penn State’s Department of Biology seeks a Research Technologist of Life Sciences (Senior Professional) to support research in fishes.
The successful candidate will maintain lab supplies and equipment, manage and oversee fish colonies, contribute to research projects, assist in maintaining lab safety protocols of staff and student, investigates and evaluates research methods, advising faculty and researchers on optimal use of methodology and equipment, collect and analyze data, summarizing the results for dissemination in manuscripts, training PhD students and Postdocs in the lab in equipment operation and research techniques, and provide constructive feedback to both trainees and the PI on ongoing experiments.
