Job Summary

• The Senior Specialist will ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations, programs and procedures with electric and steam generating power plants.
• The Senior Specialist will be responsible for safety programs oversight, compliance reporting, inspection and tests.
• The Safety and Health Senior Specialist will also assist the Environmental Specialist with field support for compliance with environmental regulations, programs and procedures as needed.

• 6 years Operating or EH&S experience with High School Diploma/GED
• 3 years Operating or EH&S experience with Bachelor's Degree
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations
• NYSDOL Asbestos Project Monitor certification
• Ability to wear a respirator
