Mercury Marine is seeking a Quality Engineer with expertise in machining processes to support quality systems and improve performance in their Fond du Lac, WI facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, problem-solving skills, and experience in manufacturing environments

Job Summary

  • As part of the talented Quality team, you will be responsible for support and facilitation of the quality system in the machining process to assure ongoing improvements in quality performance and customer satisfaction.
  • The Quality Engineer will work with employee teams and managers while exhibiting a professional and cooperative attitude.
  • This position supports First Shift while working 7am-4pm, Monday through Friday.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years in complex machining/manufacturing environments
  • Skilled in RCCA, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, GRR, ISO 9001:2015
  • Proficient in GD&T and blueprint interpretation
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Experienced in metrology and measurement techniques
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and statistical software
  • Certified Quality Engineer or Certified Quality Associate with ASQ, desired
  • Lean Six Sigma certification, strongly preferred
