Job Summary
The Licensed Tradesperson maintains, diagnoses, tests, and repairs the material handling equipment (MHE) to ensure equipment is operating with minimal downtime in compliance with health and safety standards.
Responsibilities include conducting regular preventative/predictive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing failures, inspecting equipment, preparing reports, and documenting work orders.

Key Requirements
Completion of Specialized Courses (3 academic years)
Licensed Industrial Electrician Certificate (442A) for electrician roles
5 years of experience as electrician or millwright
3-5 years as a tradesperson with mechanical experience on industrial equipment
Experience with going online with PLC (AB, Siemens)
Recognized trade certification preferred (ITABC Level A or B equivalent)
