Job Summary

  • The Intraoperative Care Technician (ICT) works under the direct supervision of the registered nurse in accordance with the standards of practice, within the guidelines of the Illinois Nurse Practice Act and the mission and philosophy of Lutheran General Hospital.
  • Provides general patient care duties as directed by the registered nurse, performs tasks related to sterility with an understanding of sterile technique, and performs tasks related to pre-operative preparation.
