Job Summary

  • The Field Occupational Therapist is responsible for the implementation of standards of care for occupational therapy services and for the adherence to all conditions outlined in their scope of practice.
  • Evaluates patient's functional status, home environment for hazards, and identifies equipment needs to develop treatment programs and establish goals for independent living.
  • Instructs patient's family/caregiver and other Agency health care personnel in patient's therapeutic procedures and provides general supervision for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants.
