Job Summary

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with federal, state, and local standards.
  • Administer medications, transcribe physician orders, and chart nurses' notes in an informative and descriptive manner reflecting care provided and resident response.
  • Participate in staff development, safety and sanitation initiatives, and equipment and supply management to ensure quality resident care.
