Job Summary

  • The N.C. Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services provides services that promote and improve agriculture, agribusiness, and forests; protect consumers and businesses; and conserve farmland and natural resources for the prosperity of all North Carolinians.
  • The individual in this position will oversee field research studies related to horticultural crop production and work collaboratively with station managers, staff, and researchers to sustain and increase research capacity, capabilities, and efficiencies.
  • Applicants must possess or qualify for certification within twelve months of employment for Public Pesticide Applicator License, Soil Fumigation Applicator License, and Forklift Driver Certificate issued by the Research Division.
