CAE is seeking a Simulator Technician III for their Orlando location, responsible for maintaining flight simulators and associated devices. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of simulator systems and be able to perform both preventative and corrective maintenance

Job Summary

  • As part of the Technical Services department within CAE’s Civil Training and Services division, you will perform all preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on several CAE and non-CAE flight simulators and associated devices at the CAE Orlando Hanger Blvd Training Center.
  • Adapt existing systems, designs, drawings, and components to resolve complex simulator and system‑level issues.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on CAE standards, procedures, maintenance manuals, tools, and regulatory requirements.

  • Advanced knowledge of QTG reading, interpretation, modification, and evaluation
  • Knowledge of configuration control processes
  • Working knowledge of Unix, Linux, Windows NT, TMS, RTS, and AIX operating systems
  • Programming knowledge in C, FORTRAN, and Unix/Linux scripting
