Job Summary
This is an operative role that requires first-assisting, along with inpatient management of post-operative patients and the outpatient clinic as well.
Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and documentation of all cardiothoracic surgery patients in the Pre-operative, intraoperative and postoperative periods as well as follow-up after discharge to ensure there is continuity of care in patient management.
The PA takes the first call with physician backup, with PA coverage provided 24/7 and shared equally between 3 PAs.

Key Requirements
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
National certification
ACLS/BLS certification
2 years CT surgery experience preferred
Licensed RN in applicable state(s)
Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in applicable state(s)
