Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of service industry, operational, and project management experience
  • 3+ years of managing direct reports
  • Prior solar/renewables operations experience
  • Battery storage (BESS) experience
  • PMI certification
  • Expertise in Excel, Google, MS Office, SmartSheet
  • Ability to read and understand electrical/mechanical diagrams
  • Proficient understanding of electrical measurement tools
  • Inverter and/or BESS manufacturers’ certifications
  • Thermography certifications (Level 1)
  • IT/networking skills (MODBUS, TCP/IP, FIBER, SCADA, SEL)
  • NABCEP PV Installer Certification
  • Minimum OSHA 30 Certification
  • Completion of NFPA 70E courses
  • CPR/First Aid
  • Familiarity with solar, renewables, BESS and other power systems
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code, OSHA
  • Familiarity troubleshooting computer networks and data acquisition systems
  • General Human Resources, Labor and Employment Law, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition/Recruiting, Entrepreneurship, Private Equity, Finance, Auditing knowledge
  • Renewable energy, especially solar and/or photovoltaic systems experience
  • Engineering, Life Sciences, Utilities, Private Equity, Financial modeling and Consulting experience
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Ability to move safely over uneven terrain
  • Ability to sit or drive for prolonged periods
  • Ability to safely climb ladders while carrying 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in extreme weather
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds
