The Health PD Specialist will deliver high-quality, evidence-based professional development to support the implementation of Head Start Program Performance Standards.
This role requires deep expertise in comprehensive health services including mental health, nutrition, oral health, safety, and trauma-informed care.
The position offers a home-based setup with up to 50% travel required for center events, partner meetings, and conferences.

Must-have
5+ years delivering professional development in health services
Deep knowledge of Head Start Program Performance Standards
Experience with adult learning theory and virtual training
Expertise in trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Nice-to-have
Master's degree in public health or related field
Fluency in Spanish language
Experience supporting AIAN or MSHS programs
Demonstrated experience with the Head Start TTA system
Passion for advancing child and family well-being
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in public health, nursing, social work, or related field
5+ years of experience in health-related professional development and technical assistance
1+ years of experience training diverse cultural and linguistic communities
1+ years of experience applying adult learning theory
1+ years of experience with virtual and in-person training environments
