Job Summary
The Pfizer Payroll Associate is responsible for the timely and accurate execution of all payroll activities and operations for assigned payroll cycles/populations.
This role requires working in the Costa Rica office 2-3 days per week or as needed by the business and is not remote.
The position involves collaboration with multiple teams including People Experience, Legal, Finance, and vendors to ensure payroll and system integrations function properly.

Payroll processing and validation
Audit compliance and Sarbanes-Oxley adherence
Payroll error resolution and balancing
Payroll claims and repayments management
Use of MS Office applications
Hybrid work arrangement in Costa Rica office
Nice-to-have
Experience with WFM and E-Time systems
Knowledge of Workday, ADP, SAP HCM systems
Certified Payroll Professional designation
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal English communication
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR or related field or associate degree with 4 years experience
Experience in Payroll, Accounting, or Human Resources
Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
Work authorization to work in Costa Rica
Certified Payroll Professional or similar designation (preferred)
