North Houston Transitional Care is seeking a part-time Remote Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory therapy and care for patients with pulmonary system deficiencies. The ideal candidate will possess an Associate Degree in respiratory care, relevant certifications, and experience in acute or subacute settings

Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of your job position is to perform respiratory/pulmonary therapy, management, rehabilitation, diagnostic evaluation, and direct care to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities, which affect the pulmonary system.
  • Plans for outcomes of care for those patients assigned and performs interventions according to identified priorities, plan of care, and the hospital policies and patient care outcome standard.
  • Reports changes in the patient’s respiratory status to the Director/Supervisor of Respiratory Care Services, the nurse primarily responsible for the patient, and the physician, as needed, and prior to leaving the facility.
