This role leads the clinical interpretation layer of a Variant Management Conference program to ensure high-quality, guideline-concordant recommendations for pediatric patients.
The senior genetic counselor is responsible for chairing VMC sessions, mentoring junior staff, and driving consistent ACMG/AMP classification applications across complex cases.
The position requires balancing semi-automated evidence pipelines with expert judgment while coordinating post-conference actions such as lab reclassification requests and cascade testing workflows.
