Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Thermal and energy performance modeling
Embodied carbon assessment and modelling
Proficient in IES VE and CIBSE TM 54
Knowledge of building fabric energy efficiency
Experience with AutoCAD and Revit
Strong Excel data analysis skills
Understanding of BREEAM and sustainability standards
Nice-to-have
Experience with OneClickLCA software
Familiarity with Passivhaus Standard
Knowledge of WELL and biodiversity consulting
Ability to sketch and communicate ideas visually
Aspiring to attain Chartered status
Good verbal and written communication skills
Understanding of European building regulations
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Building Services, Architectural Engineering or related field
At least 8 years of experience for Junior Sustainability Specialist
Proficient in embodied carbon modelling
Working knowledge of embodied carbon benchmarks and decarbonization pathways
Competent in IES VE software and CIBSE TM 54 thermal modelling
Familiarity with Part L/SAP modelling and proposed regulation changes
