Job Summary
The mission is to preserve, protect and sustain the state’s pension and healthcare plans, generate investment returns, properly account for and report on all funds, assure financially sound debt issuance, maintain the state’s “AAA” bond rating, and provide exemplary service.
This position leads the preparation of annual financial statements including note disclosures for the SRPs for audit by an external auditor, monitors and reconciles investment management fees, and assists in the preparation of the NC Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.
The position offers full-time employment (40 hours per week) with State Benefits, including health insurance, paid vacation, paid sick time, paid holidays, as well as retirement.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline with 18 semester hours of accounting coursework
