Job Summary

  • The primary purpose of the Activity Coordinator (AC) position is to ensure the safety of and provision of quality active treatment for the people residing in their assigned home.
  • The role serves as a member of the home management team for the home to which they are assigned and is responsible for providing input and following through if changes need to occur under the guidance of the Health Care Supervisor (HCS).
  • The J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center is located just an hour from the Queen City of Charlotte, home of the Carolina Panthers and the City of Asheville, home to the world renowned Biltmore Estate and Grove Park Inn.
