Job Summary
PATH seeks a Regional Infectious Disease Surveillance Advisor for the STRIDES Project to support and strengthen surveillance, detection, and analytical capacity of infectious diseases across human and animal health.
Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day implementation of surveillance activities, leading development and coordination of surveillance activities, and providing technical oversight to country-based staff.
The role requires expertise in epidemiological and laboratory surveillance for zoonotic, epidemic-, and pandemic-prone diseases, as well as outbreak investigations at national, regional, and international levels.

Key Requirements
Master’s degree or its International Equivalent in epidemiology, public health, veterinary medicine or related field
At least 5 years of international experience in surveillance systems
At least 3 years of experience managing USG-funded projects
Demonstrated expertise in zoonotic diseases, surveillance systems, and outbreak investigation and control across AMEE
Experience leading national and regional infectious disease surveillance projects
